Answers to the Q&A! (part 2)

Hey y'all! It's time for the answers to the Q&A from last week! Thank you to all who asked questions, this was fun to do!

Where do you want to go to college? I'm not entirely sure, but the only one I have seriously thought about is a college down in Florida, possibly getting an elementary education degree. I'm still praying about that, however.

Are you an indoors or an outdoors person? This depends on the day, honestly. I love being outside in the summer, but in the winter, I really do not like the cold, so I'm definitely more of an indoor person then.

Do you love meeting new people or just being with the ones you know already? I am an extrovert, and love meeting new people! However, I do feel like it can be more difficult to do as a teenager. Whenever my family moved to a different church, I was obviously forced to make new friends. At first I found it hard to do this, but I met many great people at the church I attend now! However, if I had not decided to make new friends to begin with, then I would not be friends with the people that I know now. I am extremely grateful for all of my current friends, and I can't wait to make more! So yes, I love meeting new people!

Would you rather hang out in your bedroom or in the living room with the family? As I type this, I am sitting in the living room with my family. I thoroughly enjoy hanging out with my family, especially playing board games with them.

What do you want to do after high school? This kind of goes along with the college question, but I do think that I want to go to college, and possibly get an elementary education degree. I'm not entirely sure that I want to be a teacher, but I also want to maybe mix missions in with teaching kids, in some shape or form. Again, I'm not entirely sure what all this would entail, but I am trusting God through the process :).

What do you like best about blogging? I really enjoy being able to share my, well, random thoughts with y'all, and I love reading everyone's comments, as well :).

What are your favorite books? This answer really hasn't changed since the last Q&A, lol. The Anne of Green Gables series is forever my absolute favorite. The funny thing is, I didn't read them for quite awhile because I had heard from different people that they are boring. However, I read the first one, and was hooked! Other favorites include the Andrea Carter series, specifically Courageous Love. I also enjoy the book Choosing Courage by Peter Collier, which tells the awesome stories of American heroes who have saved lives for our country.

Morning or night? I am a morning person! I haven't always been, but I've realized that so long as I get enough sleep the night before, I have no problem hopping out of bed and feeling the need to dance around the kitchen (yes, I do dance around my kitchen. Am I good at it? Definitely not, but I enjoy it;))

Shoes or barefeet? Barefeet!! All day, everyday. People are continually amazed at how much of the time I will walk barefoot anywhere. The bottom of my feet are pretty calloused, because I have always enjoyed going shoeless, even across our gravel driveway. Is it comfortable? Not really, but I don't really make a habit out of walking across tiny pebbles, lol. But there is just something about the feeling of grass under my feet that I love.

Sunshine or rain? Sunshine! I love the rain, don't get me wrong, but sunny days are the absolute bomb.

Skirts or dresses? Dresses! I like wearing skirts, but I like dresses more. I'm not exactly sure why, but I definitely like dresses better.

Winter or summer? SUMMER. SUMMER EVERY DAY. I am extremely cold natured, and so the warmer the better. While I definitely like 75 degree weather over 90 degree weather, I would still prefer 90 degree weather over, say, 40 degree weather. Can you tell I don't like the cold?

What grade are you in? I am a junior :). This coming year will be my last year of high school, which is crazy to think about.

How many siblings do you have? I have one younger sister, who is the best :).

Anywhere she is, there's always a good time :)

Do you play any instruments? I play the piano :). This year will be my fifth year playing. I absolutely love playing it, although I have gone through a few dry spells. The beginning of this month I had my yearly piano recital, where I played Fur Elise by Beethoven. Here's a picture from that day :)

This trophy was not for any real accomplishment, but it sure was pretty, plus it had my name on it :)

Do you have any pets? Yes, I have a brown Holland Lop rabbit. She's about a year and a half old, and her name is Jellybean. We got her just before COVID hit, and man, we had no clue she would become therapy bunny, lol.

What's something you learned about the BOYS and what's your fav part about us? (Note that this came from a personal friend of mine from church, ahaha) Okay, well I think one thing I learned about the "BOYS" is that y'all are actually quite friendly. Before I met you, I honestly thought that y'all were a little stuck up (sorry). However, first impressions aren't everything, and I'm extremely grateful I met you guys. I think my favorite part about y'all is that y'all make me laugh. Like, a lot. If you know me, you know I love to laugh, so I really enjoy hanging out with people who can make me laugh with ease. Y'all are also very genuine to who you are as people, which I also love, but I guess that's two things ;)

This was so much fun! I think I might make it a yearly tradition to do Q&As :)

  2. This was fun to read, Caleigh. I have no idea what I'm doing after high school; all I know is I'm not planning on going to college.

    1. For a long time I was in the same place you were: no clue what I was going to do after high school. In fact, for a long time I had also planned to not attend college, and to be an author. God had different plans ;). I'm sure that whatever God has for you, you'll be great at it! College is also not necessary to achieve big things! Go get 'em!

    1. Being barefoot is so much fun, is it not? Today we went and picked some vegetables in my great uncle's garden, and I went barefoot in the soft, tilled up dirt. Heavenly!
